The challenge

Food trucks live and die by their ability to generate orders and tell people where they are. The owner was spending ~30% of each order on Uber Eats commissions — money that should stay in the business. There was also no way to sell gift cards, update the truck location, or show reviews without manual social media posts.

What we built

A direct ordering system with Stripe — no marketplace, no commission. Customers order from the website, the truck gets 100% of each order. We added a gift card system (purchased online, redeemed at the truck or via site), a location system so regulars know where to find them, and automated Google Review display to build trust with new customers.

The whole site is built mobile-first — most orders happen on someone's phone while they're already at the location or seeing an Instagram story. Speed and simplicity aren't optional, they're conversion-critical.
